Summer Internship Program in Biomedical Research- NIH

I was involved in an internship this past summer at the NIH/NIDA in Baltimore , MD. I would recommend this program to students who are interested in performing research in a lab and to those who enjoy biology and chemistry. This experience was great because I was able to apply what I learned in class at Andover to the different experiments I performed. One of the main focuses of the program was to make sure every summer student could have hands-on experience and complete an experiment that would result in important data the lab could use after the students departure. One warning I would give any prospective students is that a poster is a requirement along with two poster sessions.
